Hi, You'd also have to be sure the geometry handling mode (http://fmepedia.com/index.php/Geometry_Handling_Mode) is set to "rich" in order to produce complex shapes involving arcs, and I'd suggest as well you'll need FME 2007 (which went to press this afternoon, so the final build should be available online by tomorrow sometime).
