The one big question is this: When migrating users to Google we have two options: 1) Send out an invitation asking all existing Yahoo group members to join the new group 2) Automatically create a Google Group account for all existing Yahoo group members At the moment I'm leaning towards option 2 - to automatically sign up everyone. That option seems to minimize the possibilities of lost users or messages, and we can duplicate your choice of email setting (ie all messages, no messages, or daily digest).
