Using FM6 on OS 9 Mac.
I need to create a summary report on a field that is populated via a value
list (7 possiblities) across some 3000 records.
The report should read as follows:
ARTIFACT CONDITION:
- Not reviewed 360
- Critical 19
- High 123
- Low 1085
- No action 10
- To be deaccessioned 244
I can artificially use Patterncount(Conservation_Condition,�Not reviewed�),
etc. But I would like to stay away from hard coding the text as the values
may change over time. The question is, how does one script the report so
that it lists a count for each possibility without the hard coding?
If it makes any difference, the valuelist is in a separate file: VALUE LISTS
which contains no records.
