Performance is notoriously slow under Rosetta, but I've not heard of crashing obviously bound to it. It's possible there are just some design flaws in your system that Rosetta has highlighted.
Unfortunately, FMI no longer supports 6, and it would seem expected behavior for them and Apple to tell you to buy the latest version. But it may be good advice if you want to use Intel Mac's, as tracking down the problem may end up costing as much as migrating. Impossible to say without knowing anything about your system. We have purchased a few Intel based MacBooks and are seeing problems with Filemaker crashing. I have asked Apple concerning this and they simply state that they have no data on this and that we should upgrade to the latest version. I would like to know if anyone else has had problems with FM6 and the Intel chips and Rosetta. -- Bennett Hart [EMAIL PROTECTED] Garofalo, Schreiber, Hart & Storm, Chartered 55 West Wacker Drive, 10th Floor Chicago, IL 60601 312-670-2000 Office 312-419-1336 Fax
