Lots of good replies! I'm currently trying to find out what regulations we would have to follow. And we've seen a lot of good information about logging hardware/software, so that made me curious to how others deal with their log data.
Now I have a much better picture of what I need to be thinking about, as well as what I need outside council to help with. Some considerations in log storage. Are you going to encrypt the data? Logs have sensitive information. If you encrypt the data - are you going to store this on tapes? This is an important point as tapes degrade and encryption is not forgiving to errors. Regards, Dr Craig Wright (GSE-Compliance)
