حضرت فضیل بن عیاض رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں: ”جب شیطان انسان سے چار باتوں میں ایک بھی سرزد کرادیتا ہے تو کہتا ہے: ”اب مجھے اس کے خلاف اور کچھ کرنے کی ضرورت نہیں“۔ یعنی ان میں سے ایک بات بھی اس کی تباہی کیلئے کافی ہے، وہ چار باتیں یہ ہیں: ٭....تکبر کرنا ٭....اعمال کو زیادہ سمجھنا ٭....گناہوں کو بھول جانا ٭....پیٹ بھر کر کھانا (پیٹ بھر کر کھانا سب بیماریوں کی جڑ ہے)“۔
