Here is an interesting article on avoiding viruses which I found a couple weeks ago. http://www.labourstart.org/ssv11.shtml
I have downloaded and am trying out the Pegasus e-mail program he mentions. It is very easy to use, it HAS a preview pane which does NOT seem to allow viruses. I did get one e-mail with a virus on it (BadtransB) since I started testing this program and a virus check after previewing the message in the preview pane did not turn up any viruses. Many other great things about this program, which you can find out by reading more about it on their own website or in the article at http://www.labourstart.org/ssv12.shtml My friend John has been using Pegasus mail happily since he began with e-mail a couple years ago. Just a tip I thought might help people out. I'm still exploring the program since I do some pretty complicated things with managing my e-mail, but so far it is looking very good. -cynthia **Folkschool-list archives are at: <http://www.mint.net/folkschool/helpnet/archives.htm> Sponsored by Pine Tree Folk School ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?a84vzQ.a9gqS3 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
