In this time of "back to school" stuff,
I am reminded of my use of these "extended" warranties.  I always take a 
look at the fine print, and if they cover any issue (as John's seems to 
have) and I'm buying a computer for my kids to take off to wherever, I'll 
buy it.

Juice in the keyboard, dropped in the dorm stairs, ... You get the idea!

In college nowadays, it isn't a case of "absence makes the heart grow 
fonder" with a computer, its a necessary tool.
