I have noticed the phenomenon that Steve describes, also. I am forever double-clicking the shortcut buttons on my Office Shortcut Bar - and just what he describes happens. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on, but once I did I have begun to break the double-click habit on that feature.

I have my own funky problems with Word 2000. I use a text to speech screen reader and sometimes things just go "afloat". But, regarding the current discussion, in an attempt to source the question to another group of folks, I sent it on to my favorite tech person at Coastal Enterprises, Will Bachman. This is what he answered me with. (Note, Will deals with more than 80 computer users using Office 2000 product.) ------- from Will; "I find this to be a problem when people double click when they should single click. Most office buttons only require a single click. The first click launches the print dialog box, but a second click brings the Word window to the front." _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail **Folkschool-list archives are at: <http://www.mint.net/folkschool/helpnet/archives.htm> Sponsored by Pine Tree Folk School **Folkschool-list archives are at: <http://www.mint.net/folkschool/helpnet/archives.htm> Sponsored by Pine Tree Folk School ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?a84vzQ.bcFlty.YXJjaGl2 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] TOPICA - Start your own email discussion group.
