I had no problems opening or reading it. And it was easy to read.
If anyone did have problems, a compromise that I usually use when sending
things out as an attachment like that is to include the text in the body of
the email itself. That way, if someone is unable to open or read the
attachment, they can still access the content - just in a less attractive
format. I always say something like "The attachment is Word 2000 for
Windows. Text is included below in case you have trouble with the
attachment".
