Hi, One thing I learned when I was at VPRI was that nobody is really responsible for creating the steady stream of chatter that Open Source projects typically have in order to encourage people to contribute. That makes it look like STEPS is dead (or at least very slow), when upon actually observing people's work, nothing could be further from the truth.
In order to help alleviate that image, I'd like to formally announce the existence of a wiki dedicated to all things related to the (huge) scope of this project: http://vpri.org/fonc_wiki/ Ian granted me administrative rights over this wiki, so the burden of care and feeding won't be falling on those who are already working 80 hour weeks and have 10,000 unread e-mails in their inbox. ;) So, this is a call to all parties, both the interested public and VPRI researchers, to put cool stuff (including questions) into the wiki for all of us to see and edit. Feel free to link to the wiki from your own pages, if you like it. Have fun, -- Michael FIG <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> //\ http://michael.fig.org/ \// _______________________________________________ fonc mailing list [email protected] http://vpri.org/mailman/listinfo/fonc
