Dear all,I would like to announce the availability of the MDSOC kernel that Robert Hirschfeld and myself at HPI and Hans Schippers at the University of Antwerp have been working on for a while now.
It's a kernel for MDSOC (multi-dimensional separation of concerns) programming language implementations, and it's completely based on the COLA infrastructure (albeit SVN revision 278).
The kernel, including the required COLA version and some sample language implementations, is available from http://www.swa.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/misc/#delmdsoc - please experiment and let us know what you think. :-)
The ideas that have been implemented in the kernel are documented in an ECOOP paper available from our web site [1]. Some theoretical background about the mappings of languages the the model documented in the ECOOP paper will be detailed in an upcoming OOPSLA paper.
