Hi all,

Bit of a newbie question:

I'm at Camp Smalltalk at the ESUG conference, and I'm starting to work
on writing an x86_64 code generator for Jolt2. I played around with
Pepsi a couple of years ago, enough to get a basic idea of how it's put
together.

However, I'm pretty much just starting out with Jolt. A lot of what
needs to be done on the code generator is obvious, but at this point I
need at least one test case to work through and get working. And I
didn't find anything today that works in i386 that fails in 86_64.

Is there any example code that uses Jolt2? I also tried jolt2/main,
which prompts for code to compile/execute (I think) but I can't get that
to give me anything other than either syntax error or segv, in either 32
or 64-bit. Is this common, or is something wrong in my environment?

I'm on the latest SVN, on Linux.

Thanks,

-Martin
