I would rather speculate on MRAM-derived reconfigurable logic,
as it would have indefinite write endurance, unlike memristors.

ST-MRAM should have good power scaling with structure shrink
and allow low-power, nonvolatile runtime-reconfigurable logic.
It might be compatible with current CPU fabrication processes,
including multilayer (deposition of an MRAM layer on top of usual
CPU CMOS).
