He does run into some obvious issues expressing linguistic concepts visually, though, doesn't he? About 44:00 in, you can see that he has to explain that "fish" is just an example used to express a behaviour on *any* object.
It's pretty difficult to visually express "a class of objects" (or any concept that is meta to the concrete, really) unless you perhaps used the greek concept of icon, however we've overused that in computing such that an icon is now taken to mean the thing it's an icon for... It would seem he needs meta-icons, if there could be such a thing.
