--- Comment #8 from Hans Ulrich Niedermann <[email protected]> --- After building fonttosfnt from gitlab.freedesktop.org with the three merge requests, I was able to build the two files terminusn.otb and terminusb.otb. After placing those two terminus?.otb files into a new directory /usr/share/fonts/terminus-otb/ (not the /usr/share/fonts/terminus/ directory which contains the fonts.dir file and the ter-*.pcf.gz files), gnome-terminal allows me to choose Terminus as the font again, and shows the text in Terminus. FTR: On Fedora, the fonttosfnt utility is shipped as part of the xorg-x11-font-utils package, which contains a number of font related upstream utilities in one Fedora package. The last fonttosfnt release was mid-2018, and we definitively need the above mentioned three pull requests to be merged into fonttosfnt before we can use fonttosfnt to build *.otb files. Then there is still the issue that while gnome-terminal now allows chosing Terminus as the font again, something about the character spacing looks wrong in some sizes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. _______________________________________________ fonts-bugs mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected]
