I received the attached message today. It seems that this will be a good
ground for working on something that can be used here later. I am already
working on reencoding some Omega Type1 fonts to be usable in xfree86. If
only we can push them to use Unicode properly and follow the standards, we
can have some good Unicode-encoded fonts in a short period of time...
