Hello to all,

I have just submitted the new Bigelow & Holmes Luxi (formerly Lucidux)
fonts for inclusion in XFree86; they are available to XFree86 members
as patch number 5010.

Main news:

 - bold versions are available, leading to a complete family (r, i, b
   and b-i);
 - both Type 1 and TrueType versions (both under the same name; users
   can choose which one they get by setting their font path);
 - expanded glyph repertoire (brand new punctuation characters,
   leading to full coverage of both Adobe Standard and Windows glyph
   collections).

Things to do:

 - test the new configuration;
 - update the Xft configuration to take them into account;
 - update font paths to include the TTF directory;
 - update all user configuration files to point at Luxi instead of
   Lucidux.

Note that *no* compatibility aliases with the old names are provided.
This is to comply with an explicit request by Charles Bigelow and Kris
Holmes. I would ask distributors not to include such aliases either.

(I realise that this is a pain, but there are potential trademark
issues with the old name. B&H have ensured that they hold suitable
trademarks on the new name.)

Thanks for your help,

                                        Juliusz
