I'm not sure if the XFree86 project themselves go out and solicit for fonts and other things directly like that however if one were to come forward offering fonts to XFree86 it probably stands a better chance of integration perhaps. You might want to suggest to the font authors to consider submitting their fonts to XFree86.org for inclusion and see what they say. Hope this helps.
