What Jacob tried to point out was that you might need to change your
userconfig.xml file to specify the complete path to the Ariali.xml file,
i.e.
<font metrics-file="c:\Your\Path\To\FOP\Ariali.xml" ....
In addition, looking at your original message though, you say that FOP
complains "Can't find userconfig file"
This would imply that you need to provide a complete path to the
userconfig.xml file on your comand line, i.e.
fop -c c:\some\path\userconfig.xml
