renderer would work and the PDF renderer not work. I run all of my stuff in

Actually, we wanted to use '-print' but it was complicated by the 'headless' problem on AIX, so we went to '-ps' (PostScript), and did a 'cat %1 >lpr' (approximation). Don't get me wrong (apologies if I gave that impression!)--PDF works well, unless we need SVG/Batik.
