Exactly. Come to think of it, maybe that last idea won't be feasible
--at least not for the majority of the cells (those in the table-body).
For the header or footer this would be superfluous, since the resolved
borders will already be available from their own cells, and would
simply mean that layout has to decide between one cell's after-border
or another's before-border, so it may not be worth the effort. The
collapse methods will be available from within the layout package
anyway, so it can just pass those two BorderInfos into the method, and
get the right one from there...
