I've done various local changes to fix certain issues like Java 1.5 methods, some Checkstyle issues and whitespace. Obviously, this whole functionality is not quite finished, yet (it's not working on tables). You've also mentioned that you'd like to refactor certain parts to reduce the number of method parameters in places which I support. So, my question is: Is it OK if I put your patch with my corrections on a branch from which point we can continue?
