I can set "DL" as paper size on my printer (driver) (Brother HL-1250). You may need to consult the manual of that user's printer or ask the printer manufacturer's support to help you. TS: Yes, I can do that as well but I am used to word way of telling the document that it should be printed as DL. Sorry for the confusion, but in German we say "Ettiketten" for labels (paper format). Labels have to be printed as DL (paper size) -> within my company! </TS> Anyway, I'm confused with what you say. You're talking about DL size envelopes and about labels. A label for me in this context is a sticker that you can print on and later put on an envelope or parcel. TS: We are talking about labels (your definition of it) which have the size of DL sized envelopes, because there will be put on parcel ;-) </TS> So it seems to be that you're talking about two different things. It's difficult to help without understanding what you're trying to do exactly. Maybe I'm just stupid for not getting it. TS: I apologise to confuse everyone! It was not my intention! I like to print out labels to put them on parcels. This labels have the size of DL envelopes. I know how to change the drivers of the printer and if I do that them out I want to PUT this information within my PDF document like I would do it within MS Word or OO. I do not want to let the user do that everytime he/she wants to print labels. So my question: how can I deposit the information that the paper size should be "envelope DL" within fo document? </TS> At any rate, I've got the impression this thread is slowly becoming a bit off-topic for this list. TS: Why? Still? </TS> King regards </Thorsten> On 26.05.2003 10:42:43 Scherler, Thorsten wrote: > I forgot to mention that it also has to be printed in landscape format. ;-) > > -----Original Message----- > From: Scherler, Thorsten > Sent: Monday, May 26, 2003 10:33 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: AW: Layout-master-set > > yes I have problems with the printing!
