So, as I found out here
(http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=fop-user&m=102460147622314&w=2) FOP does not support SVGs when converting to PCL. That is very
sad as the next possibility for using dynamic generated barcodes with fop
(Krysalis), is no solution for me...
That message is over a year old and is referring to version 0.20.3 of FOP, which would have shipped with an older version of Batik. The website says the PCL renderer has limited support for SVG. Have you tried it with FOP version 0.20.5? If so could you share your findings with the list, I would be interested. If indeed the PCL renderer doesnt support SVG then the website should at least be updated to reflect this.
