problem external-graphic and background

hello,

I'm using fop 0.20.5

I want to display a border arround an image with 3d effect

I try a simple sample with 2d effect but it doesn't work:

<fo:external-graphic src="" height="3.5cm" width="3cm" border-color="black" border-width="1pt" border-style="solid"/>

there is no border arround may iamge

somebody has an idea?

I want to know how can I add a border arround my image

and how can I obtain a shade effect
