Hi,

Had I known about this forum earlier it would have spared me quite a few
hours. As it happend first my frustration had to rise high enuogh to
overcome my general reluctance of submitting error reports, then only while
skimming through the other reports had I found a chance remark to this
place.

Anyway, being new to this forum I first did a search wheather my most
annoying problem, footnotes from list-items and table-cells not being
rendered in v.0.93, had been dealt with previously. As it turns out (at
least the first half of) it is a long known issue as I have found a thread
with entries between May 20-22, 2006. That's 9 month old now. So there is
only one question to ask: "Would it ever be solved??"

Don't underestimate the seriousness of this problem. The company I am
developing a stylesheet system for is going to make me ditch FOP if the
problem persists or I cannot find some acceptable workaround that would need
no cooperation from document authors. All soulutions I can think of are
naturally only approximate, the footnote may go to the page preceding the
one the mark is rendered.

The other missing feature I have reported , i.e. that inline-progression
does not work on inlines, is equally problematic in handling the type of
documents the stylesheet are develped for.

Thanks for bearing with me

JN
