It depends a bit on finding the right combination of content-height/
content-width and height/width...
There are known limitations, but if you want, then you can always
show the FO-code you're using to insert the graphics. That way, maybe
we can give you pointers to achieve the desired result.

Well, using GIF is generally considered to be a Bad idea... browse
around a bit, and you'll even find some calls to boycot the usage of
the GIF format, so consider your idea to be Good indeed! ;)
