If I want to use a font other than the Base 14 and I embed it in the
PDF that I generate from xsl-fo with FOP 0.93, I am successfully able
to access that font in the text of the PDF.
But if I have that font installed on my Mac OS X system, I think I
should be able to use that font in the PDF document without having to
embed it.
As long as I provide the font metrics in the configuration file, I
would hope I could create a PDF that references the font by name
without having to embed it.
But when I do not include the "embed-url" attribute in the <font>
element, the resulting PDF document fails to reference the named font.
Is there some reason why it would never work to *not* embed the font,
or is it more likely that I am doing something else wrong.
