Multiple pages on one page

Hi,
Is there any way of configuring FOP to put multiple pages on the one 
page? For example, I want to generate a document where two "FO pages" 
sit on the one physical page.

Would it be difficult to modify the Renderer to do this, if we cannot do 
it already?
