Thats because the patches on issue 42861 have not yet been applied.
Two fixes applied over PrintRendererConfigurator so far were #41831 and
#43464. At which point #42861 (yours described) will be applied?
When a committer finds the time to look at the patches, test them and
apply them to the codebase.
