Hi, You need a font that contains glyphes or Japanese. If you mix english and Japanese text, then you should either use a single font containing latin & Japanese glyphes, or 2 fonts (1 for latin, 1 for Japanese). A starting point to find Japanese font: http://www.wazu.jp/gallery/Fonts_Japanese.html
