Obviously the german commands would be ok, too. ;-) I'm not familiar with 
Photoshop, but would that make the images brighter in windows explorer or 
darker in FOP? And can whatever this settings do be achieved with fop, too? The 
same image I posted is also used by iText and in an iText generated PDF it 
looks (nearly) identical to the explorer view.
