Thanks Georg for your reply. I will try the changes you have suggested
and check the result once again.

Hi Venkat,
You can shorten your example by putting the markers before and after the table,
not on each cell. Since the marker text doesn't change throughout the table,
only one starting marker and one ending marker is needed. One danger: The block
containing the marker must be kept together with the table, otherwise you might
get a break between the marker block and the table block and then wonder why it
doesn't work...

Betreff: Re: How to ommit table-footer at the end
Hi,
Please check the attached FO file. There is <fo:retrieve-marker> is being used
in this example.
This example shows the continuation of your table in header part.
Thanks,
Venkat.

Hi Pascal,
I am very glad for your quick response. I also have some doubt
related to table-footer. I am generating pdf using <fo:table> for my
contents. When the content in the <fo:table-body> flows to next page
I specified <fo:table-footer> with */"Contd..."/* text.. But the
footer is automatically placed even after completion of the content
in the last page. How can I stop this.

Hi,
please, post your query directly on the FOP-USER list, I read it
regularly.
In addition, if I can't give you an answer, another contributor can
give you a quick one.
What you need here is <fo:retrieve-table-marker> from XSL-FO REC 1.1
(see [1]), but unfortunately it is not yet implemented.
I have no idea to workaround.
Pascal
