Peter, I'm no expert at real-life AFP printing (ironically never actually printed a single AFP page in my life), but AFAIK resources don't have to be embedded in the print file to be referenced. Fonts should also work even if they are not embedded, as long as a resource of the same name is available on the target platform. So I believe that afp:include-form-map complements afp:invoke-medium-map but does not require it. HTH
