Hi All, My XML source is using → for a right arrow. FOP renders # instead of the symbol in a PDF using the Apache FO stylesheet. I believe the right arrow should be standard (part of Base-14).
I believe the right arrow is part of Base14. When using docbook2pdf (via openjade tools), the symbol rendered properly. Ubuntu 10.04, x64. FOP 0.95 (part of Ubuntu package). I believe I have all the Appache FOP stuff installed. I also have MS TrueType fonts installed. For waht its worth, I did not have luck with a local install of FOP 1.0 (see below). Any ideas?
