Hi, thanks for your interest in my problem, in the end it was a matter of fonts. With the default font spaces were rendered, but were "compressed".
Today I set font-family to "monospace" and I saw clearly that white spaces where correctly not collapsed under blocks with attribute "white-space-collapse='false'", as you said. The thing that made me make the mistake is that previously I copied strings from the rendered pdf to notepad, and seeing there trimmed spaces I thought it was fop that removed spaces. Thanks again, Andrea -- View this message in context: http://apache-fop.1065347.n5.nabble.com/How-to-avoid-white-spaces-collapse-in-fop-1-1-tp38487p38496.html Sent from the FOP - Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: fop-users-unsubscr...@xmlgraphics.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: fop-users-h...@xmlgraphics.apache.org
