Strange, I do not immediately see anything going wrong on my end... Given what you describe, my best guess would be that the pattern files are not loaded properly for some reason (?) Do you see any warnings in the console about pattern files not being found? If not, can you provide more info? Do you just drop the hyphenation JAR in FOP's lib directory, or are you using the environment variable FOP_HYPHENATION_PATH, or ...? Thanks!
