Regardless of whether you want, I just confirmed that understanding. I see now that it was already relicensed under the ASL, and the test suite incorporated into the code, which should make it actually possible to maintain more generally. This means that the simplest way to contribute to whatever rAPA community might exist would be to fork the raa repository on bitbucket. I believe that the available documentation is what is included as docbook documentation in the archive.
