Hi!

What is the status of FL3? Is it possible to estimate when a release
might be ready to ship? One of the reasons I'm asking is because the
ISO:s are dated december 2011, and it's getting harder and harder to
convince (experienced) users to give Foresight a go when they might
consider the project stagnant or even dead. If FL3 still is far away
maybe there at least can be new ISO:s (2.5.3?) and some sort of news
bulletin on Distrowatch showing the Linux world that Foresight is alive
and kicking. The information availible on Distrowatch today begins with
"Foresight Linux is a desktop operating system, based on rPath Linux,
featuring an intuitive user interface and showcasing the latest desktop
software.". It's well put, but that last part seems a bit off since the
latest release was 15 months ago. Try to imagine how you would
feel/react if you read that and had never heard of Foresight Linux
before. Would you still proceed downloading and installing an ISO from
december 2011 or would you choose to try something else? I think it is
time telling the world about FL3! At the very least I want to be able
telling my friends whom I convinced to run Foresight something about the
future and the upcoming release of FL3.
