So tonight I managed to hack some rudimentary automation together using mirrorball (which also needs conary, rmake, xobj, and rpath-xmllib ) to build a set of encapsulated packages based on a minimal install of fedora 20. The purpose of these is to use to make some chroots to do the real imports. It is nothing great (don't read it) but we only need to get these first packages in so we can build an environment to really fire up mirrorball and rmake and get the real import process running.
I am running the cook with no deps and the context set for each chroot. Hopefully this will work the way I think it will and we will be able to build chroots using the resulting packages. Tomorrow I will create a group based on these packages and see what we can do. I am trying to document everything as we go so that the whole process is reproducible in a much smaller time frame. Some of the scripts I am using we can share and improve if anyone wants though they are really only for a bare bootstrap. Cheers! --Brett -- Brett C.
