Andres, My tries to setup this OVH server, which have already high bandwith and unlimited traffic, are to help you develop packagekit. I've a Gentoo 2010 64bits system booting successfully from the iSCSI disk without using their default kernels from network. It's a pretty old kernel (2.6.24) which was included in the default automatic install. Now i've downloaded the OVH recommended kernel config and the kernel sources package patched by Gentoo, so it's compiling a 2.6.31 kernel with gentoo patches and OVH config. I've seen that is OVH config already includes KVM virtualization but when i've tried with Zhang we have found that inside a KVM virtual machine, speed is a lot slower so that's why i still want to try LXC to improve speed into the virtual environments. I've already managed to use LXC into my Ubuntu so i will compare with my Gentoo. What do you think of all that ?
