There is already in python 3 a converter program that manages automatically some syntax changes like strings and octal formats. But before fully dropping in python 3, python 2.7 understands both the new and old syntax to let time to convert. Maybe i should look in a ruby based package manager like homebrew instead of a python one like conary :p
