Dear GAP Forum, I am running gap 4.10.0 inside sage 8.6 and get an error message after
gap> G:=SymmetricGroup(7); Sym( [ 1 .. 7 ] ) gap> ct:=CharacterTable(G); CharacterTable( Sym( [ 1 .. 7 ] ) ) gap> NameOfEquivalentLibraryCharacterTable(ct); (the error message is printed below). But, when I use my old stand-alone version of gap (GAP 4.9.2 of 04-Jul-2018) it works (and "A7.2" is returned). I have not installed the Browse package in gap inside sage (I'm not sure, if NameOfEquivalentLibraryCharacterTable requires this). I would be grateful for any help. Thanks in advance.
