Dear all,
it has turned out that the bug recently reported by Roman Schmied is
in the GAP kernel and has nothing to do with the Mac OS or compiler
version used (but the effect of the bug may vary depending on the OS
and compiler used). A fix for this bug will hopefully be included in
the next GAP update.
