Yes I should have added that I have tried using the command line version of Tidy and it works fine without replacing the entities. Therefore there would seem to be a problem with PSPad.
Is there a fix for this problem? It is quite convenient to be able to use Tidy from within the editor and a bit of a pain to have to use a different program to clean the code. Ray -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,30578,31072> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
