Yes I should have added that I have tried using the command line version of Tidy
and it works fine without replacing the entities.  Therefore there would seem to
be a problem with PSPad.  

Is there a fix for this problem?  It is quite convenient to be able to use Tidy
from within the editor and a bit of a pain to have to use a different program to
clean the code.
