Try:
Settings Menu > Program settings > Editor - behaviour
Trim Trailing Spaces  
When selected trailing spaces will be automatically trimmed from end of line.
You cannot use it with Word Wrap feature. If activated, Word Wrap is disabled.
The checkbox has 3 states.  
 [ ] - No trimming
