Although there is some documentation on the RemObjects site dealing with the Command Line Compiler it is pretty basic. At the moment I am only using it to learn Chrome and the dot Net framework as I normally program in Delphi or FreePascal. Chrome has added a lot of new things to Pascal (most of which are sensible) and this is taking some time as more things seem to be implemented with each new release. Much still eludes me! Michael McMillan has written two books on programming in Visual Basic.NET which I am using to learn the dot Net framework by implementing the examples in Chrome. Everything has to be tested to check out exactly how it works as there are some subtle differences. As I don't program for a living it gets only odd bits of time devoted to it.
One problem is that you have to add the needed DLLs as parameters in the Highlighter >> Compiler settings window/tab. This soon becomes a very long string and it is sometimes a bit difficult to work out just which DLL has to be included. On the other hand PSPad does make things a lot easier than using Notepad and unless/until someone writes a dedicated free/share-ware Chrome editor and project manager it seems it is by far the best thing available. I think that persevering with Chrome will be worthwhile as I am never very clear where Borland/Inprise/CodeGear are going with dot Net. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,43329,43479> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
