Greetings I'm a long time (8+ years?) fan of PSPad, mostly for PHP scripts. My installed version 4.5.x seemed to be corrupted however, so I downloaded and installed the latest version. Didn't take note of old settings, assuming that the new version would use old settings. However, when I opened a script in the new version and hit CTL-SHFT-F10 as usual, nothing happened.
Went through settings. On project settings, "server" had nothing in it, so changed this to "http://localhost"; as directed; pointed "compiler" to local version of php.exe and "%file%" for parameter. Don't have anything in external applications. Don't remember doing any of this for last version but it was my only hope. Do have ZoneAlarm installed and by default I don't like applications routinely "phoning home" so have blocked access to the internet but not to Trusted zones. Is this a problem?
