If your ini file was overwritten in the update process, probably all your old settings are lost. Go to settings -> program settings -> web server. If the edit boxes are empty, fill in host name and document root (e.g. C:\apachefriends\xampp\htdocs). This could be a solution. Path to php.exe is normally not needed when you use php on the server, as most people do. Consider making backups of your pspad.ini in the future. I am sure I don't want to lose mine. :-)
